~ A True Adventure Story ~

I hitchhiked across most of America.

I was hitchhiking through Mississippi in 1974
when I stopped in small town where
a black man had just been lynched.

I lived in a commune.

I rode freight trains with hobos.

I worked in the fields with migrant farm workers.

I prospected for gold.

I backpacked across ten countries in Europe.

I traveled in central, western and north Africa
in the summer of 1980 while Americans
were being held hostage in Iran.

When I was in Algeria, I entered a small village
where all the living inhabitants had been
slaughtered.  Even the dogs had
their throats slit!

My expedition to Africa was the most
exciting thing I have ever done in my life!
